where were you when you heard about 9/11?
mrs. allan’s 7th grade social studies class, second period. the principal came on the pa system saying there had been a terrorist attack in new york city and then our teacher told us the last time she remembered that happening, jfk had been killed. she then told us we would remember that moment for the rest of our lives.
Found out in gym class when I lived in upstate NY. I remembered a couple kids making jokes and a couple others getting sitting in loud silence worried about their family memebrs, being we were only a short 3 hour drive away. Thank God for Mr. Dart, my angry cross-eyed Math teacher hosting said Study Hall. I salute your patriotism, sir. Fuck the system.
